You know that moment when your whole world unravels? I’ve lived it.
I lost a man I loved and a job I loved, all at once. But really, the hardest part was the lost identity. I hadn't realized how much I'd invested until they were both gone.
I was left with only my heartache and my notebook. So, I began to write.
One day, in the midst of my despair, another Voice came through, and wrote a message through my pen:
“Unemployed? It is my assertion you are employed by me.”
Though a non-believer at the time, it was clear that the voice was God's. The Infinite Consciousness behind all of life!
The voice broke through my beliefs, my grief, and frankly, my disbelief that it existed at all. And, in that moment, everything I thought I knew about myself and my world dissolved, falling through my fingers in a year of solitude.
All I had thought was gold just turned to tin. And all I had once discarded was returned to me, in treasures and blessings unending.
The Voice in my notebook led me on a quest to myself. Re-introduced me to myself.
In that year of solitude, writing and taking dictation, I filled 10 spiral notebooks. I emerged softer yet internally stronger. No longer emotionally prickly, weak, hiding, and fearful, but clear-eyed, strong-spirited, and loved.
After a decade of private study with the voice of God, during which I learned how to live in a new way, I now have a mission to help others the same way my life was transformed.
